Bio

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Catherine George worked in fashion design before entering the film industry. Now based in New York City, Catherine designed the costumes for Jim Jarmusch's THE DEAD DON'T DIE and PATERSON. Having first worked with director Bong Joon Ho on the award-winning SNOWPIERCER and more recently the Netflix original feature OKJA marked their second collaboration. Catherine has collaborated with director Oren Overman on THE DINNER, having also designed his other films TIME OUT OF MIND; RAMPART and THE MESSENGER. Her work in Television includes the HBO Pilot episode of SUCCESSION, directed by Adam McCay and the mini-series "The Night Of" directed by Steve Zaillian. She recently designed the Amazon Pilot episode of TAlES FROM THE LOOP, directed by Mark Romanek. Previous credits include Lynne Ramsay's WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN, Todd Solondz's LIFE DURING WARTIME, and RESERVATION ROAD directed by her brother Terry George. You can download a resume (here)
